Last week, Elon Musk took over as CEO of the social networking site Twitter.
According to sources, the billionaire has not been afraid to make changes, and several top officials at the company have already been removed.
However, not everyone on Twitter is pleased with Musk’s modifications and promises. Many celebrities are quitting the internet platform, stating that they would not stay to see what the Tesla CEO has in store for them.
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Grey’s Anatomy, announced her departure from Twitter on Saturday, October 29. “I’m not waiting to see what Elon has planned,” she added. Bye.”
Ken Olin, the producer of This Is Us, did the same thing. “I’m out of here,” he tweeted. “I make no judgment.”
Alex Winter, who appeared in Bill and Ted, seems to be quitting Twitter as well. According to the Hollywood Reporter, after deleting his tweets, the actor left behind a Linktree URL and a meme depicting Musk, Trump, and West as the three musketeers.

Other celebrities debated whether they should stay or go. “Large exodus on this platform,” Josh Gad, who played the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, tweeted. I’m not sure if I should stay or go. I’m thinking about remaining, but I’m not sure what the point is if today is any indication of what’s to come.”
People’s concerns about Musk’s takeover appear to stem primarily from his support for blocked Twitter users such as controversial artist Kanye West and former President Donald Trump.
West was banned from Twitter earlier this month after sending numerous posts that many people perceived to be antisemitic. Trump was also barred from tweeting after it was claimed that he used his social media account to spark the riots at the Capitol on January 6.
Musk stated in May that if he were able to purchase Twitter, he would “lift the permanent ban” on Donald Trump’s account.
“Permanent bans should be extremely unusual, and they should only be applied to accounts that are bots, scam accounts, or spam accounts… “I do believe it was wrong to ban Donald Trump,” Musk told CNBC at the time.

“I think that was a mistake because it turned off many people and didn’t prevent Donald Trump from being heard in the end,” Musk added.
Trump has stated that he will not return to Twitter. Instead, he will stick to TRUTH, his own social media platform.
