A little, lost baby owl was discovered laying on the ground by Peter Middleton. The owl was in really poor condition.
He had a really severe infection in his feet and was smeared in muck all over. Mr. Middleton made the decision to save the owl after observing his miserable state.
Bertie is the name Mr. Middleton gave this owl. The vet was taken by him. He was under the veterinarian’s care for almost two months.
He was taken home by Mr. Middleton, who placed him on his back porch in a dog cage. Bertie appeared to be somewhat uneasy, so Mr. Middleton took him outside and brought him inside.
