Dad Builds His Son A Miniature Wooden Version Of $28M Rolls-Royce Boat Tail

We adore our children, which is why we strive to make them happy by providing them with everything they desire. But what if your child requests the most costly automobile in the world? This creative Vietnamese father created a wooden Rolls-Royce Boat Tail for his kid. And we can only want to be as inventive as him in order to make our children’s dream automobile a reality.

Truong Van Dao, a seasoned woodworker, can create anything out of waste wood. His most stunning creations, though, are the child-sized reproductions of expensive automobiles he created for his kid. He previously constructed a little BMW 328 Hommage and a Lamborghini Sian Roadster out of wood. They are not simply copies; they are fully functional wooden automobiles that run. His most recent endeavor is to create a functional miniature wood copy of a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail. The genuine vehicle, which costs an astronomical $28 million, is now the most expensive automobile in the world.

Dao, like his past wooden automobile replicas, films the entire process on his YouTube channel ND Woodworking Art, which has over 1 million followers. The replica Rolls-Royce has seats, headrests, a dashboard, working LED headlights and taillights, swiveling rear-view mirrors, and a steering wheel. It also includes the butterfly trunk, which opens in a theatrically sweeping fashion to show a unique set of glassware, an umbrella, and some orange juice cans. Even the wheels are constructed of reclaimed wood and have rubber treads.

Dao films the whole woodworking process, from cutting and gluing to sanding and polishing, and uploads it on YouTube. Furthermore, the wooden Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is driven by a battery, allowing his kid to drive as much as he wishes. He finished the child-sized functional automobile in 68 days, concluding with the recognizable bonnet ornament sculpture (Spirit of Ecstasy) on the hood and the distinctive ‘RR’ badge under the grill.
